Pro's insight:
A forgiving Par 5 to start your round. A drive up the left side of the fairway is required to stay away from the trouble on the right.
If long enough, you have an opportunity to go for the green in two, and for the higher handicapper, we have a generous lay up area. Beware for your next shot, water lurking left of the green for those with ambitions of getting there in two.
Captain's insight:
Great driving hole but avoid missing fairway on the right as ball may be unplayable in the bushes.
For the bigger hitters the green can be reached by an accurate 2nd shot avoiding the lake to the left of the large green.cBest to keep your second shot to the left half of the fairway which opens up the green avoiding bunker to the right
There’s a stream runs across the fairway at 300 yards catching any miss hit second shots . A good opportunity to open up with a comfortable par or even a nice birdie to start.
