It is with huge sadness that I have been informed of the passing of Brian McGuire. Not only a club captain, but a friend, and an integral part of our development over many years. From handicapping, marshalling, junior, seniors and lady sections organising, managing the men’s team, and generally being there for everyone, at anytime. Myself and my son David spoke with him regularly over the last couple of years, as he was having mobility issues, but was always in great spirits, and asked about everyone at the club, and indeed how he wanted to get up and see everyone. Brian, you will be sadly missed and thank you for everything you did for me, the club and my family. Rest in peace
