Still working around the positive autumnal weather, which has allowed us to maintain a great level of maintainance and presentation to the courses. Winter wheels will still come into manadatory use from November 1st, however, as the weather is being kind, and until it changes drastically, we will continue on the summer courses.
On a less positive note, we’ve noticed bunkers with unraked footprints appearing within just 30 minutes of the team completing their work. Please help us keep the course in great condition by raking bunkers and repairing pitchmarks, especially as the greens soften.
Regarding buggy use: we are now on paths only on The Lakes, and paths only on The Dawson, with holes 4 & 5and 7-11 on semi rough only. As we are aerating tee surrounds and green surrounds along with other areas, it is essential that all buggy rules displayed in the buggies are followed. Unfortunately, we’ve seen buggies too close to tees and greens, which hampers the recovery progress. These rules include the use of personal buggies.
