I write with the sad news, that our ex Captain and friend Peter Whistler, has sadly passed away after a short illness.
Peter was a gentleman in every way, a great member of the club, and for me personally, and friend and neighbour.
We are so happy he got to come and see us recently, and went around the course with his dear friends Bill and Tony.
Our thoughts are with Angela and his family.
Rest in peace Peter.
